New and Existing Professional Photographers.

Photographers wishing to operate during an event must have prior written permission from the club, and have full third party liability insurance. Photographers for each show season are selected at the club AGM. Given the nature of the events, photographers will be asked to provide evidence of prior experience of working at club level equestrian events. The club reserves the right to limit or increase the number of photographers at any club event without prior notice. The club does not enter into any form of contract with any photographer. Photographers attending do so on a non exclusive basis. Experience of horses and outdoor events is esstential.

Press Photography.

Bonafide members of the press are permitted to carry out photography and video on the following understanding. They must seek and gain written permission from the secetary on the day (where possible give advance warning and provide press details), must not interfere with the running of any class, and must seek the judges permission before entering any ring.

General Photography at Events.

Non comercial Photography by specators to the event is permitted from outside of the rings, no specators or competitors may take any photographs or video (including mobile phone footage) when inside rings, including collecting rings. This is on the understanding any images taken are not for publication.

Flash Photography.

No flash photography is permitted in ANY part of the show ground, by ANY class of photographer.

Head and Body Mounted Cameras.

Competitors must not make use of any head or body (including on the horse or pony) stills or video cameras without prior written permission of the club.  Such examples include, but are not limited to, helmet mounted cameras for recording show jumping or cross country course rounds, fun cameras head cams and other such toys.

Artists

Painters and Artists are welcome to attend shows as spectators on the understanding they work outside of rings and collecting rings and any equipment presents no risk or danger.
